St. Thomas Aquinas has been a VASEY service and project customer since 2008.

The customer was operating an antiquated boiler with associated equipment that performed poorly and was unable to keep up with facility demands. The bottom line was the church had a system that was highly inefficient and too costly to repair.

“People pass out during Easter’s church services due to a lack of air conditioning and overheating in the sanctuary.”

VASEY replaced the antiquated boiler with three small, high-efficiency boilers and a new DX cooling system. The new units came with associated rebates to offset the cost of the project. The new systems introduced outside air into the facility and reduced the carbon monoxide levels.

The church administration was extremely happy with the increased efficiency of the new system, having significantly lower gas bills and increased comfort of church attendees.

VASEY helped slash utility (gas) costs by approximately 50 percent.
