Meet DeeDee Prather, an essential member of our Service Dispatch Department. DeeDee has been with VASEY for 14 years. Some of her responsibilities include answering calls, dispatching technicians, and scheduling repairs for customers.
We owe a great deal of thanks to DeeDee as she has been a vital part of our team. Fortunately for her, but unfortunately for us, she is planning to retire at the end of April 2022.
DeeDee believes VASEY is a wonderful place to work because customers’ needs are met with a more personal approach because customers aren’t viewed as “just business,” but more like friends who need a helping hand.
She loves seafood, classic rock, and traveling to the Smoky Mountains and Savannah, GA. She grew up in Crawfordsville, IN; however, she has lived most of her life in Lebanon, IN.
When not at work, DeeDee enjoys historical movies and docuseries. A huge animal lover, DeeDee is active in animal rescue and transport. She has two sweet and lovable dogs; Coda, a Bernese Mountain Dog and Charlie, her Bernedoodle (Bernese/Poodle mix).
Here’s an interesting fact about DeeDee. Her fourth great-grandfather was an Aide de Camp to General George Washington! For non-military buffs, an Aide-de-Camp is a military officer acting as a confidential assistant to a senior officer.
DeeDee, thanks for being a dedicated, talented, and giving team member. It’s been a joy to work with you during these past 14 years. Enjoy your retirement in April! We will miss you.
